These Terms & Conditions govern your use of all Briefyy products and services. Please read them carefully before subscribing.
By registering for a paid subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you are subscribing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
To begin using Briefyy, contact us at hello@briefyy.com or via the enquiry form at briefyy.com. We will confirm the products you wish to subscribe to, your billing start date and any setup requirements.
Your subscription begins on the date we confirm access has been activated. We will never charge you without your explicit agreement and confirmation of payment details.
Briefyy does not currently offer self-service sign-up. All subscriptions are set up directly with Sammy, ensuring your dashboard and data sources are properly configured before your subscription begins.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on the 1st of each calendar month. For subscriptions starting mid-month, the first invoice will be pro-rated to the end of that month. Current pricing is as follows:
Discounts may be available for group subscriptions or multi-product deals. Please contact us to discuss.
All prices are stated exclusive of VAT. VAT will be applied at the applicable rate where required.
We accept payment by bank transfer or card via our payment provider, Stripe. Invoices will be issued monthly. If payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to suspend access until payment is made.
We may update our pricing with 30 days' written notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
1 month's written notice is required to cancel your subscription. Notice must be given by email to hello@briefyy.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period following your notice period — you will retain full access until that date.
For example, if you give notice on 10 March, your subscription will continue through April and end on 30 April. No further charges will be made after that date.
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months. If you cancel part-way through a billing period, your access will continue until the end of that period.
In the event that we are unable to deliver the service as described due to a fault on our part, we will offer a pro-rata credit or refund at our discretion.
Your subscription is for your business's internal use only. You may not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these conditions without refund.
Briefyy collects and processes data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our service you consent to our data practices as described therein.
The intelligence reports and data delivered through Briefyy products are provided for your business use only. We take reasonable steps to ensure data accuracy but cannot guarantee that all data sourced from third-party public databases is complete or error-free.
We treat any business information you share with us (including hotel details, rate strategies and commercial preferences) as confidential and will not share it with third parties without your consent.
All content, design, software, data processing methodologies and brand assets associated with Briefyy remain the intellectual property of Briefyy. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights over our platform or underlying technology.
The reports and intelligence data delivered to you as part of your subscription are licensed to you for your internal business use for the duration of your active subscription.
Briefyy's products are intelligence tools designed to support your commercial decisions - they are not a substitute for your own judgement or verification. The following limitations apply to each product:
Briefyy.Watch: Rate data is gathered from Google's Metasearch listings and reflects what was displayed online at the time of the daily 6am scan. Rates can change rapidly, and we cannot guarantee that Metasearch is always comparing like-for-like rates (for example, room type or meal plan may differ between listings). While Google aims to display a genuine comparison, we are reliant on what it shows us. We recommend independently verifying any flagged breach before taking action, and we are not liable for business decisions made on the basis of our reports.
Briefyy.Resi: Rate data reflects a snapshot of publicly available rates at the time they were gathered. Rates can change rapidly after that point. We recommend confirming current rates directly before making business decisions based on our reports.
Briefyy.Scout: Leads are drawn from publicly available sources, including tender award notices, planning application registers, business news and event listings. We pass on this information as found and do not verify its accuracy, completeness or currency. We do not guarantee that any lead will result in new business - pursuing and converting a lead remains your responsibility.
Briefyy provides intelligence and data services to support commercial decision-making. We do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes from use of our products.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including loss of revenue, loss of business or loss of anticipated savings.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
We are continuously developing Briefyy and may update, modify or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of any material changes that affect your subscription.
If we discontinue a product you are subscribed to, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and provide a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of your billing period.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
